The Battle of the Alamo, a part of the Texas Revolution, ended on March 6, 1836, when Mexican troops under General Antonio López de Santa Anna regained the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas). Several months previously, rebellious Texians had driven all Mexican troops out of Mexican Texas. Up to 260 Texians were garrisoned in the Alamo at various times. In the final battle, all but two of the Texian defenders were killed, and 400–600 Mexican troops were killed or wounded. The battle has been the subject of numerous myths, spread by movie and television adaptations, including John Wayne's 1960 film The Alamo. (more...)

A Granny Smith apple and the cross-section of another. This cultivar originated in Australia in 1868 from a chance seedling propagated by Maria Ann Smith (1799–1870), from whom comes the name. Granny Smith apples are crisp, juicy, tart apples which are often used for cooking, especially in salads because the slices do not brown as quickly as other varieties.

How do you put two websites on one main page?
Q. I use Yahoo as my host. I have one site built already but I want to change my site so that it is a main page with two website options they can choose from on that main page. Then each button takes them to the respective website. Can you offer any help? Thanks!!! Will I have to have pay for 3 domain names/sites, one for the main one and one for one website and one for the third website?
